The quiet one in the bunch (it’s hard to get a word in edgewise around here), Jon practices yoga and meditates daily. Knowing that most people hate being photographed, Jon is patient with his subjects, ensuring they ease into things, become relaxed and feel comfortable before he gets to work. Seeing their initial uncertainty transform into euphoria before the session comes to a close, it might just be that Jon is equal parts magician and mystic.

Portraits people love can only be taken by photographers who love – who genuinely love – people. Knowing people are self-conscious and generally hate having their picture taken, we take our time to really get to know our subjects BEFORE they sit down. They love that!
